Music Requirements
Practical Grade 5
Theory Grade 5 or equivalent
Audition Requirements
  • Play 3 pieces of contrasting styles
  • Improvisation
  • Sight-reading
  • Aural Placement Test (intervals, triads, scales, melody singing and rhythm clapping by memory)
  • Theory Placement Test (intervals, scales, key signatures, time signatures, chords, Italian terms, cadences, and harmonic analysis)
Auditions are held in April, August and December Student who have exceeded the expected level required will be given exemption of the lower levels of music courses in the Foundation programme.
English Language Requirements A distinction (A1 or A2) in SPM / UEC English, MUET Band 5, or a score of 213 (Computer based) / 550 (Written based) / 79-80 (Internet based) in TOEFL, or Band 5.5 in IELTS. If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) must be taken at UCSI University. Intakes January, May, September Assessments Vary from subject to subject including:
